NAD+ Reconstitution Calculator
NAD+ is a coenzyme (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide), not a peptide — sold for research as a lyophilized powder or pre-mixed solution. This page shows how to reconstitute it and read the result on a syringe — the calculator does the arithmetic for you.
Status: Not approved for human use as an injectable; sold as a research compound.
The math
Concentration = vial ÷ water · Units = (dose ÷ concentration) × 100
NAD+ is a coenzyme rather than a peptide, but the reconstitution math is identical: divide the milligrams in the vial by the water you add to get the concentration. NAD+ vials are usually much larger than peptide vials — often hundreds of milligrams — so a larger diluent volume is common.

Example
Vial500 mg
Bacteriostatic water5 mL
Concentration100 mg/mL
Each 10 units (0.1 mL) contains10,000 mcg
How to use the calculator
- Open the calculator and enter your NAD+ vial size.
- Enter your bacteriostatic water volume, then your dose.
- Read off the units to draw and doses per vial.

Frequently asked questions
How do I reconstitute NAD+?
Add bacteriostatic water to the lyophilized vial to reach a concentration you can measure. For example, 500 mg in 5 mL of water gives 100 mg/mL, so each 10 units (0.1 mL) on a U-100 syringe contains about 10,000 mcg of NAD+. Swirl gently rather than shaking.
How many units of NAD+ do I draw?
Divide your intended dose by the concentration to get the volume in mL, then multiply by 100 for a U-100 syringe. The calculator does this automatically once you enter your vial size, water volume and dose.
What vial sizes does NAD+ come in?
NAD+ is commonly supplied as 100 mg, 500 mg, 750 mg. The amount in the vial does not change with how much water you add — water only sets the concentration.
Is NAD+ approved for human use?
Not approved for human use as an injectable; sold as a research compound. This calculator only performs arithmetic on the numbers you enter and does not recommend any dose.
